ARTISAN COLLABORATION:
Emilio Fernández Quispe is an artist and artisan. He and his family create textiles, embroidery, altarpieces (altarpieces), tapestries, pillows and ceramics in their workshop located in Lurín.
Emilio learned to use the loom as a family inheritance. When he was 17, he migrated from his hometown to Lima to get the opportunity to work or study. But above all because of the terrorist movements that hit Ayacucho.
His art expresses the creativity, the manual skill and the cultural-artistic sensitivity of the artisan in the region.
